‘Hello I have recently been appointed as the Senior Competition Manager for Kent. Given the overall remit of driving the quality and quantity of Competitive School Sport, I manage the county's other three competition Managers as well as being competition manager for 5 partnerships. An ex-pupil of Dover Grammar School for Boys and former Head of PE, I have recently returned to the country having spent six years overseas.’

‘Hi, I am Pete and I bring to the role of competition manager a background in Sports Development and coaching. My main sport is athletics at which I have represented Kent on a number of occasions. I studied at Staffordshire University graduating with a BSC (Hons) Sports Technology in 2003, following this I took up the role Kent Athletics Development Officer. I am looking forward to the challenges of developing schools competitions in Kent in the lead up the 2012 Olympics in London’.

‘Hi, I am Jo and I worked as a Competition Manager/ School Sports Development officer for the Tunbridge Wells School Sports Partnership before accepting the post of Competition Manager for the Ashford, Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells SSPs. I bring to the role a wealth of experience in organising school sports competitions. I am a Level 3 (UEFA B) qualified football coach and spent 3 years in America as a Coach and Club Development Officer. I have a Bsc (Hons) in PE & Sports Science.’

‘Hi I’m Laura and I enjoy playing sport, in particular rugby, swimming and hockey. Rugby and hockey being my main sports whilst at university; I also play for the local sides and the county rugby squad. I am a qualified rugby coach and have over 5 years experience in Sports Development. I studied Sport and Exercise Science at Canterbury Christ Church University and am looking forward to developing school competition in Kent.’
