6 teams Sittinbourne schools took part in the Sheppey & Sittingbourne SSP High 5 Primary Netball Festival on Thursday 12^th March at Sittingbourne Community College.

High Five Netball provides the link between First Step Netball and the full 7-a-side rules. The rules have been modified to allow players greater freedom around the court and to give them more time in which to make their decisions and to act upon them. The game encourages maximum participation from those involved and introduces the roles of scorers, timekeepers and centre pass markers.

Year 5 & 6 Sportshall Athletics Festivals

Over 200 young people from 14 Teams and 9 Schools took part in two Sheppey and Sittingbourne SSP Year 5 & 6 Sportshall Athletics Festivals. The first festival held on Tuesday 9^th December at Sheppey Leisure Complex involved 6 teams competing over 12 Sportshall athletics events involving running, jumping and throwing activities.

After 2 hours of hard competition the Team from Regis Manor came out on top, in 2^nd place was St Georges 2 and finishing 3^rd was the team from West Minter. The other teams competing were St Georges 1, Minster in Sheppey and Rose Street.
